As we can see from the film,the new technologies bring many benefits to the characters,especially to the factory’s owner.He could use the CCTV to watch the workers when he was in the office, so he could save more time to do the things that he like.It was very convenient for him as he could control the workers and maintain the factory properly.The new machines increased the productivity of the factory so the owner could earn more. Therefore,the owner of the factory gain a lot from it.And for the workers there,new technologies make their simplier,so they could finish their work in a short time.



2.Charles Chaplin played the role as a factory worker.In the film,he could not catch up with the new technologies and ended up being unemployed.He became very nervous when working and lost control of his body.He was feeling very unhappy.At last, he was sent to the hospital because of his mental illness.



3.There are positive and negative effects.We gain a lot from using computers and internet.We can find a lot of useful information and finishing our homework quickly by using the computer.We can communicate with our friends much more easily through internet and playing computer games in our free time ,in this way,we will feel happier than before.
On the other hand,computers can affect us if we don’t use it properly.Take,for example,there is lots of incorrect information.We cannot belive in the fantasies in the internet world and neglect the reality of our lives.Also,if we sit in front of the computers for whole day and keep on typing .We can get hurt from these actions.
